A un paso de los diez
La dupla compuesta por Federico Iribarne y Julián Santero largará mañana desde la 11ma posición, a un pasito de los diez mejores, tras haber el piloto mendocino clasificado en ese puesto hoy en el autódromo de la ciudad de Buenos Aires, escenario donde la Clase 3 del Turismo Nacional disputa su 11ma fecha del año, en una carrera doble con pilotos invitados.
Con el Ford Focus del GC Competición, fue Federico Iribarne quien salió en principio en el ensayo para invitados, en el cual trabajó para continuar con la adaptación a este tipo de autos, parcializando sin buscar tiempos, por lo cual quedó posicionado en la 33ra ubicación. Luego, fue el turno de Julián de salir a entrenar y buscar el mejor equilibrio de la unidad, quedando en el ensayo en el 13er puesto, con una marcada ida de trompa.
Tras algunos cambios, Julián salió clasificar y con distintas tendencias, el de Mendoza marcó en su primer giro rápido un mejor tiempo de 1m 26s 37/100 que lo posicionó en la 11ma colocación final, a una diferencia de 73/100 del poleman, Carlos Okulovich (Ford Focus).
“La clasificación es buena, ya que sabíamos que por ahí se nos podría complicar en relación a algunos autos que vinieron a probar en la previa a este circuito, y se mostraron muy rápidos. A nosotros nos costó encontrar bien el equilibrio ya que en el entrenamiento quedamos con una marcada tendencia de trompa que intentamos solucionar con algunos cambios para la clasificación, y no pudimos encontrar bien el balance, ya que quedamos de trompa en las partes lentas, y cola en los sectores rápidos. De todas formas es positivo haber clasificado bien cerca de los diez, esperemos ahora que Fede Iribarne mañana pueda cumplir una buena carrera para en mi caso poder largar lo más adelante posible la final de titulares, sabiendo que contamos con un auto que siempre muestra un muy buen ritmo”, expresó Julián.
De esta manera, mañana la actividad se pondrá en marcha a las 11.00hs, con la carrera clasificatoria de pilotos invitados a 16 vueltas o 30 minutos, en la cual Federico Iribarne largará desde el puesto 11, en la 6ta fila de partida. De acuerdo a como llegue el invitado, partirá luego Santero en la competencia final de pilotos titulares, la cual se pondrá en marcha a las 13.30hs, a 22 vueltas o 40 minutos como máximo. Ambas pruebas serán televisadas en vivo por la señal de aire Canal 7.
