Domingo complicado
Gonzalo y Matías Antolín fueron protagonistas en la final de la Clase Tres de Turismo Pista disputada en Buenos Aires, aunque ambos no pudieron completar la competencia por toques que los dejaron fuera de carrera y que fueron determinantes en el resultado final. Gonzalo fue protagonista durante el desarrollo de la carrera y fue escolta del líder durante buena parte de la carrera, intercambiando posiciones con Federico Santos, Juan Cruz Talamona y Marcos D’agostino, hasta que a poco del final un toque con este último lo dejó con las manos vacías y con una posterior sanción por esta incidencia, aunque mostrando una vez mas sus condiciones y las del Chevrolet Classic que alista de manera integral su padre dentro de la estructura propia.
Matías largó algo retrasado después del resultado de la serie de ayer, pero recuperó posiciones hasta que un toque con el Chevrolet Onix de Jorge Baliñas lo dejó fuera de carrera cuando el Renault Clio N°3 comenzó a levantar temperatura producto de ese incidente.
«Nos quedamos con las manos vacías a poco del final por un toque con Marcos D’agostino, pero también por un toque de atrás cuando estábamos todos muy juntos y no había nada definido. Fuimos protagonistas y peleamos de igual a igual con pilotos de mucha experiencia, por eso nos vamos conformes y pensando en la próxima para seguir aprendiendo. Gracias a todos los que nos dan una mano grande para estar acá, queríamos devolverles el esfuerzo con un buen resultado pero no pudo ser, por eso ya ponemos la cabeza en la que viene y nos pondremos a trabajar junto a mi padre y al equipo de cara a la fecha que se viene» señaló Gonzalo, mientras que Matías expresó; » No pudimos dar vuelta el fin de semana y terminamos fuera de carrera con problemas de temperatura después del toque con Jorge Baliñas . Nos llevamos el auto bastante roto y con mucho trabajo para la próxima carrera, pero haremos lo necesario para ser competitivos y tomarnos revancha de este mal paso por Buenos Aires. La competencia fue ganada por Christian Bodrato Mionetto con un Ford Fiesta Kinetic, acompañado en el podio por Federico Santos y Lucas Yerobi, ambos con Renault Clio.
La próxima fecha será el fin de semana del 12, 13 y 14 de mayo en Concepción del Uruguay, Entre Ríos.
