El autódromo «Oscar Cabalén» de Alta Gracia será el escenario que reciba al Turismo Pista este próximo fin de semana, llevándose a cabo la octava fecha del presente campeonato y con los hermanos Antolín nuevamente como animadores de la «Copa Ariel Cano» y el «Gran Premio Alfredo Mondino», nombre que llevará el evento y que pondrá en juego una importante cantidad de puntos para quienes aspiran a quedarse con la corona de la presente temporada.

El equipo con sede en San Rafael ya cuenta con todo listo en los autos de Matías y Gonzalo, los cuales fueron terminados con la debida antelación luego de haber terminado en perfectas condiciones la competencia de Paraná, última en la que se presentó la categoría hace algo mas de tres semanas.
El Renault Clio de Matías pasó por reparaciones de carrocería tras algunos toques en carrera, pero se realizó un repaso general y solo algunos elementos reemplazados. En el Chevrolet Classic de Gonzalo ocurrió algo similar, por lo que ambas unidades no tuvieron mayores inconvenientes para estar en condiciones de competir nuevamente este fin de semana con la firme intención de ser protagonistas y de mantener las posibilidades de luchar por el título en el caso de Matías, quien marcha en el 6° lugar del torneo con 134,5 unidades y a 71 del líder Lucas Yerobi cuando quedan 124 en juego aún.
«Llegamos de buena manera a esta nueva carrera, pudimos terminar en tiempo y forma los autos por haber terminado los dos en buenas condiciones la carrera anterior, por eso tuvimos tiempo de trabajar tranquilos y organizar una cena donde la gente de San Rafael una vez mas nos dio su apoyo para seguir adelante en el campeonato con los dos autos que representan a la ciudad. Nos jugamos una chance importante de llegar con posibilidades de luchar por el título hasta la última carrera, por eso pondremos todo para lograr un buen resultado y esperar que estemos adelante de nuestros rivales directos y descontar la diferencia que nos llevan»manifesto Matías.
«Ya tenemos todo listo y una vez mas llegamos con las mejores expectativas a un circuito que ya conocemos y donde esperamos funcionar bien como lo hicimos la vez anterior que corrimos allí. Finalizamos a tiempo con los trabajos y ya estamos con todo listo para el viaje, pensando en otro buen fin de semana y como siempre agradeciendo a todo San Rafael por su apoyo y a cada uno de los sponsors que nos acompañan para que sigamos adelante en el Turismo Pista» agregó Gonzalo.
La actividad oficial comenzará el viernes con dos tandas de entrenamientos y una de clasificación, mientras que el sábado se realizará la segunda y definitiva tanda clasificatoria seguida de las series, las cuales ordenarán la grilla de partida de la final del domingo a partir de las 11:00 hs en vivo y en directo por la pantalla de canal 13 para todo el país.
