General Alvear vivió una verdadera fiesta con el Ca Nav. Participantes de todo el país llegaron a Mendoza para participar de la 1ra fecha del año.
puntuable del Campeonato Argentino de Navegación Rally Raid 2017, competencia que recorrió territorio cercanos a la ciudad mendocina y visitó las dunas del Nihuil. Varios pilotos de la provincia estuvieron en el podio entre ellos Ivo Perabó, Toni Penessi con Martin Winstertler, Mario Rodano, Daniel López y el equipo Salitroso en Quads.
La competencia tuvo en línea de largada 113 máquinas participantes que se dividieron en trece categorías cuyas clasificaciones finales fueron las siguientes:
